I have also been playing on my 52J for a little over a year now. And, I could not be anymore happy, unless Conn came out with an F like the 52. Anyways, I played my horn at a store that was local to my area and I could not have been happier, I played on the new 54J at Tmea this last spring and I am more pleased with my horn then with the other. The one good thing I can say is that it was the only one they hafd in the store and the tuba guy said he picked that one horn from ten others, which means I think I got the pick of the crop. But, when it comes to make this kind of purchase do not skip in the research and testing of horns. Just my two cents
