I suspect that it has substantial collectors value to hardcore tuba fans. I remember seeing a trumpet that was once owned by Sammy Davis Jr. on EBay that was probaly an $800 trumpet that sold for well over $2000 if I remember correctly. With the photos and letters that go with this auction of Bill Bell's tuba, I'd suspect that the buyer will be buying it strictly because it was owned by Bill Bell.
