Similar story - I was selling a horn to a guy in another state - we were negotiating and weren't in agreement on price. Late one night I got a call from his wife saying the family was pitching in the difference and wanted it for his birthday. My wife spoke to her first told me to sell it for whatever they had, even though it wasn't near my goal price. Ahhh the things we do for love.
