Anton Guidano (spelling?),
he was a regular at the Vienna State Opera and others. A fine communicator (I heard him switch between French, German, Italian and English in rehearsals) who never threw a tantrum when I worked for him, and a superior musician in every way. Not many recordings (I think he did one of the Three Tenors recordings).
His nickname, Pepe. What was Reiner's nickname? He didn't have one, see... shows you what kind of guy he was.
