OK! He WAS good! I once back in 1972 attended a DRSO concert, where he conducted "Pictures" in the Ravel orchestration. Also on the programme was Gaspard La Nuit by Ravel.

The DRSO played magnificently. Here 30+ years later I remember not only the fantastic solo trumpet, Ole Andersen (a favourite of Celibidache), but also his great duo work with the 2nd trumpet, Kurt Petersen.

Bydlo was very well played on a Conn Connstellation 4FP bellfront baritone by the acting 1st trombone, Thorkild Graae Jørgensen.
