Indiana Musical Showcase Solo Competition


The Indiana Wind Symphony announces Indiana Musical Showcase, a solo competition for all Hoosiers. There are only two eligibility requirements - you must live in Indiana, and you must perform a piece with band accompaniment readily available (either in an accessible library or by rental or purchase). The winner will be featured as soloist with the Indiana Wind Symphony on Sunday, November 23 at St. Luke's United Methodist Church. Please call IWS Music Director Charles Conrad for more information (317) 844-4341. Please do not call either church for information.
Round one is by cassette tape or CD - fill out the following form and send it with your tape or CD. Entry application with tape or CD must be received by Sept. 27 at noon. Accompaniment is not required but is recommended:

Round two - the finals, will be a live audition on Saturday, October 11 at John Knox Presbyterian Church, located at 3000 N. High School Road. You must provide an accompanist or recorded accompaniment. Piano will be available.
