I just bought the horn last week after test driving it since February. The guy I bought it from had to dig it out of his garage and remove the geranium from the bell. I bet it's safe to say that it hasn't been cleaned out in several years. The finish is in pretty good shape, except the valve section shows a lot of wear. After watching that auction site and seeing what that other York is at, I'm thinking I got a great deal on mine.
I took a few shoots of it last week for Lee Stoufer to explore the possiblity of getting it cut to a C. After his response I've chosen to brush up on playing in Bb. As soon as I clean her up I'll put together a web page and share it with you guys and gals!
