OK...just for fun. Here's an off-the-wall wild card topic that might lead to an interesting story or two...Who knows?? (' trying once again to get away from Conn 52J/BBb vs. CC/ etc.)

Sousa wrote a march called the Hippodrome March...obviously some sort of tribute to this majestic multipurpose 5000+ seat hall in New York City.

The place was closed down well over a half century ago...

Is there a tuba player on this list who performed in the Hippodrome? If "Yes", please tell us what you played there, and with whom (or a similar legendary old hall [with the exception of Carnegie] would do, as well...the longer ago and the less classical music-related, the better).
