To be honest, I disliked playing tuba till I went to my first drum core. Thats when I just went WOW I wanna be that good. Well after that I havent' hardly touched my sax(the instrumented I wanted to change to). And I spend my playing times on the tuba and plan to goto college on it.
I think it was the phantom regiment that was just wow with there ungodly sound, not to mention the closer that year. Quite amazing.
