... buy it anyway, despite the not-so-good-comments on the horn. I have to buy it, because it´s my destiny (?). I have a chance to buy a nearly unused horn at very cheap. It was bought for a player in big orchestra when he won the audition, but he found out later that he doesn´t need a big F for his work. He uses his Perantucci instead when he needs an F tuba.

Anyway, I love the horn. It has this great big sound and very good playability and good response. It´s bell is as big as Besson Sovereign Eb:s, but the tone isn´t so "muddy", and the sound is also much more vivid and colourful. The intonation might not be perfect, but is far from "unusable" (according to a tuning meter). Aren´t all tubas more or less "out of tune", as they are not machines?

So. Any good comments on the subject? Does anybody (else than me) play these instruments?
