I'm doing some planning for a future brass quintet/solo recital, and am looking for music written by African-American composers. So far I'm looking into Kenneth Amis' Quintet #2 and a manuscript copy of William Grant Still's "Little Suite from the Western Hemisphere" on the brass quintet side, but I have nothing on the tuba solo side.
