I recently flew to Germany with Lufthansa. I was charged $105 extra for my big horn because it was overweight(75 lbs) and this was coming from Boston where they are a bit lazy sometimes with the charges. I would recommend having your program cover the costs, but be prepared to pay if your horn is over 70 lbs. Best of luck! Steve
