Slurring upward, gradually higher and higher (as in over a couple weeks), is a simple way to put it. However, be sure not to neglect your lower register; only working out your higher chops can really ruin your sound throughout the money register of the instrument, as well as kill your embouchure.
Getting a smaller F tuba really seemed to help my high register after returning to playing CC as well, though I don't know why. I never made a consorted effort to extend it, but I'm not complaining.
