Unfortunately, transcribing from a MIDI file leaves you on shaky intellectual property legal ground. Most MIDI authors will claim copyright to their work, which, if you think about it, is nothing more than a recorded performance of a work.
And, as Jim says, quite a number of MIDI renditions bear little resemblance to the original score.
