Personally I think that the euph is better than a tuba any day. But, again I still like the tuba because of the sound that it could produce. The euph is easier to play ans takes less wind than the tuba and it also is made to project a beatiful sound. Because euphonium comes from the word euphonia which means beatiful tone or sound.
