MICHIGAN CHAMBER BRASS TO PRESENT FREE CONCERT FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 26TH AT 7:30 PM.

Please join conductor Paul Eachus and the Michigan Chamber Brass on Friday, September 26th at 7:30 P.M. for a free concert. Known for exciting and polished performances, this group of professional musicians will perform "Concertino, Op. 94" by Dmitri Shostakovich
and a medley of the Olympic themes by John Williams. Camille Saint-Saëns' family favorite "Carnival of the Animals" (the PJBE arrangment by Peter Reeve), narrated by EMU History Professor Robert M. Citino, will be the featured work of the evening. Euphonium player and EMU low brass instructor Matt Tropman will be the featured soloist on Simone Mantia’s "Believe Me, All Those Endearing Young Charms" and George Bizet's "The Flower Song". The concert will be held at the acoustically wonderful Pease Auditorium on the campus of Eastern Michigan University. Pease Auditorium is located on the corner of
College Place and Cross Street in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
