if it's not committee-think that's responsible. How can an oboe and a bass trombonist agree on a trumpet player when they are both looking for different things?
The bass trombonist wants to hear meat and potatoes, the oboist is worried if he'll ever be heard if the bass trombonist's choice gets the gig.
