You might want to try Taylor music in Aberdeen, SD. They are geared for the student and schools, but they often do a good job fixing up old instruments and often have many different kinds of tubas on which you could play. They are online at www.1800usaband.com
I purchased my new Mirafone 186 from Marlene at Taylor Music. There is usually a waiting list on reconditioned Mirafones, however. If you're not looking to spend much money and you really want to play a variety of tubas, it might be the place for you to check out.
