I've owned both a 45slp and a YFB621. I sold the slp and kept the Yamaha. It is the best f tuba that I have played (I haven't played a HB f tuba) with the understanding that it is a bass tuba not a contrabass. The 45slp was awkward, heavy sounding, and very much like a contrabass. I loved the sound but I have a cc tuba.....

If I had money to burn, I would be very interested in checking out a YCB621.
