Yes, I'm making that assumption. P stands for Piston, B for BBb, and M for Medium-sized (I suppose), as opposed to K for Kaiser. I understand that virtually all Gronitzes are made to order. Perhaps, though, I was assuming too much. The PCK isn't quite as large as the biggest of the CC grand orchestral tubas, so maybe the PBK isn't quite as large as you think. That sort of evaluation is difficult to make with pictures because some large tubas play well with a light touch. Even my Holton, which is about as big as it gets short of a Rudy Meinl 6/4, can play softly very well. The right big tuba can be more versatile that folks who've never had one realize.
