It would depend on how those trumpet caps were patented. Also, since they have been around for a while, a 17-year patent may have expired. Anyway, if Mark's patent is specifically for tuba caps and there have not been any patented, then it stands a good chance. Also, his are for rotors--are there equivalent trumpet versions (for rotary tpts)? Just thinking out loud.
