I have been asked by a friend to sell an older Besson BBb 4 valve compensating tuba. The horn was played for many years in a polka band and has a lot of the travelling dents, etc. The valves and slides are in good shape. The owner had cut the bell flare off and had a King detachable recording bell installed. The original bell flare is here and can be reattached (which I probably will do in the near future). Although rough, the tuba plays well and would make a decent tuba for someone not overly concerned about looks. The owner wants to start entertaining offers at $1500.
