This is Jacob again. It seem that the smaller student models tend to project more than great compared to the bigger instruments, that is, based on my experience with both sets of horns (I own both 3 valve and 4 valve, large and small, and played several different brands, but I could be wrong. It was said that the larger the bore the larger the sound could be if you could produce enough air but student models don't have the large bore but can project more than great. Can someone some of the differences in bore size
