I need to get a hard case, airline transportable, for my 1890's Cerveny Helicon. I can get an ATA case made locally, but it's gonna be too heavy to check as baggage. I've had the bell cut, ala sousaphone, but standard sousaphone cases are too big in diamenter and too shallow to allow for the non-bent detached bell. Any ideas kids? (Walt Johnson, who made my fab YBB621 case, won't return my emails so I guess that's a "no" from him.) Gonna be blowing with an amazing Klezmer Brass ensemble all over Eastern Europe this summer and I NEED this moster to keep up with the trombone section. (The lil' Yamaha withers under them...) HELP!!!!!Thanks.
