A long time ago that I noticed that I paid more attention to the music than the quality of reproduction. A wax cylinder of Caruso beats the best DVD of Andrea Bocelli any day. Previn conducting Prok 5 with the LSO and Fletch on tuba is awesome, even if it's never been released on CD. Much of my collection is vinyl (even a few shellac 78's) and I'm still wondering why I gave my Dyna tube amp to Goodwill 25 years ago. I still have my Altec Lansing/ University 3-ways and my Dyna A-25's for speakers. Wish I would've kept that set of AR-3A's, though. But yes, I do have a CD changer...
FWIW, I have owned the same TV since 1971, an American-made Zenith; I don't have cable or satellite and quite frankly, still wouldn't watch the damned box if I did. Big waste of time.
