My turntable sports an Audio Technica AT-12Sa, "quadraphonic" cartridge. I think one of the other problems with quad was that the vinyl was required to carry frequencies as high as 40KHz, so as they wore out, the quadraphonic effect slowly sank into the mud. I still have some SQ records, though. The stylus was replaced a few years back with a stereo model; for some reasome the local Radio Shack couldn't find the quad Shibata version.
Any idea where I can buy a Discwasher?
