Yes, in fact, some retailers do offer a trial period. I recieved my slightly used HB-21 for a 7 day trial period prior to purchasing it. To boot, I got it shipped free on a train as well because of a promotion. The horn was in great shape, sounded good, so I kept it. This was done through Baltimore Brass, i.e. Dave Fedderly. The only stipulation was that a payment in full was due prior to shipment. But, if I did not like the horn, I would simply get the check back, and would be responsible for return of the horn.
This is a standard for Baltimore Brass. As for financing, I do not know.
