Joe, that is too pretty to store away somewhere. You need to hang it on the wall at home. That's what I did with mine. (Only it don't look anything like that!) Old instruments make neat decorations. Your's would just happen to be useable also! Great job! Sho is purdy! I love the satin finish.
Is that the original neck, or did you fabricate it? We have an old BBb York sousa at my school (which is the best playing sousa we have BTW)sans neck. The problem is, as is the case with your heli, the neck has to be so long. We used a King neck and a couple extra bits to make it reach. It looks pretty stupid but it works. It would be nice to get a real neck for it, however. ken k
