I bought a plastic one for my horn, and it didn't fit. I eventually got a metal one from Mike over at Brasswind, but unfortuantely they don't have any more. I'll agree with you on the fact that it does bridge the mental gap between the mouthpiece and the horn. It works great for me, but it's your personal opinion that counts.
