I appreciate the comments. You're one of the few people I'll miss. I am leaving music. The final straw came when Mr. Hermann told me when I said that one of the aspects of music I hated was people talking about other people, "That is how people in this department are and always have been. Accept it." If that is the attitide that the teachers I'm supposed to respect have, then I can do without it. I might play the tuba at some point, but probably not. If you'll e-mail me privately, then I'll tell you everything. I could not put some things on a public forum, but if you know everything, you'll understand better.
