This is how I learned a lot of "extra" music in High School. Started on trumpet, so I could read Bb treble clef well already. Then I realized that I could play alto sax parts if I pretended to read bass clef and added three flats to the printed key signature. Then I figured out that tenor clef read like Bb treble clef if you added two sharps to the printed key...you know, I was a fairly smart kid. I guess that I had too much beer in college, because I sure didn't end up that way! Duh. Doh.
