Well all you St. Pete haters, I am a satisified owner of a St. Pete 201N. Yes it has a tarnishing problem (I got a silver polish/paste from my local jewelry store that takes care of this) and I even keep it in a gigbag. It has its fair share of small dings but for an old hack like me that uses it in a community band and a brass quintet (www.southsidebrass.com) it is a fine horn. I bought this horn used when after about 18 years of not playing I decided I missed playing the tuba too darn much. Has good response in all registers and does what I got it for. True I bought my son a miraphone 186 5u (thanks wwbw) for Christmas, I am still very happy with my St. Pete and no Vince didn't pay me to say this.
