I played it with my highschool band my senoir year. The good news is the band parts are not too difficult for the highschool players. I agree that the peice is not that of a serios concerto like the VW or something. The audience took it well also. I didn't particulary care for the cadenza so I had a teacher of mine rewrite it. But have fun with it.
