easier to play more musically on C Tuba?

Question for the pros: I have played BBb Tuba my entire life, enjoy the BBb tuba and really love the new King 2341...I do have a flaw with my playing and that is chipping notes...(I don't know why) BUT, when I pick up a CC Tuba, like a Meinl Weston 2155 my sound is a little thinner but musically it seems my sound dances a little more for soloistic purposes, it's a tighter sound, PLUS the chipped note thing doens't happen as much IF AT ALL. My question is in addition to ANY suggestions you pros may have....Is this worth switching over to CC to give another dimension to my playing? OR is it wise to learn Eb or F and stick with the BBb and disregard learning CC? OR suck it up and learn them all? What's a good approach?

Thanks for any advice that can be offered!
