The following is a bio that he wrote while playing for the Tubafours, so it is a little out of date. I do know he was at Athens, Ga working on his Masters and also toured a bit with the China Symphony this part winter and also with the Brass Band of Central Florida:
---------------------
Willie Clark is originally from Chicago, Illinois and is a founding member of "The Tubafours", now known as the "Boardwalk Belltones/Woodchucks Tuba Troop". Willie was tricked into playing the tuba by his first band director and longtime inspiration John P. Weber, who he still can't thank enough. In addition to the "Belltones", Willie Clark also teaches tuba at Stetson University and is an active freelance musician. Other groups he has performed with include the American Wind Symphony, Kentuckiana Brass, Sam Rivers Rivbea Orchestra, and Keith Brion's New Sousa Band. Willie studied tuba at the University of Illinois with one of his most favorite people on the planet, the great Fritz Kaenzig. Other teachers include Roger Rocco, David Pack, and Richard Frazier. Willie Clark plays on a Mirafone 186 with a Perantoni PT-88 mouthpiece.
