What you're looking for would be a 27J:

For the record, gleaned from old catalogs, these are the short action valve, big bore Conn tubas:

20J 3 top pistons, bell front
21J 3 top pistons, bell up
22J 3 front pistons, bell front
23J 3 front pistons, bell up

24J 4 top pistons, bell front
25J 4 top pistons, bell up
26J 4 front pistons, bell front
27J 4 front pistons, bell up

Although it's possible that the front action horns were made after WWII, I've only seen them in pre-War catalogs. The top action horns, 20/1J and 24/5J remain in the catalog through the 50's and early 60's at least.

In a bass catalog from the pre-short action valve era, there is a 26J listed with 4 front regular (long) pistons, bell front.

I've never seen a 27J listed, but that number would be consistent with the scheme for the variations on the 2XJ theme. Surely they existed because the front/up bells were available on the top action horns in both 3 & 4 valve configurations.

Apparently, the top action horns were far more popular than the front action horns, because you see lots of them come up for sale (mostly 3 valve, but some 4). One almost never sees a 22J/23J or 26J come up for sale.
