Joe Norcross owns a Conn 34J, which he describes as a 4 top pistons, bell forward. He says that the difference between the 34J and the 24J is that the bell on the 34J is 26" as opposed to 24" on the 24J, and that the throat is wider on the 34J than the 24J.
Was there a whole series of 3XJ horns, just like the 2XJ tubas that Rob lists?
