One of my teachers from the past (my least favorite teacher, but we learn from ALL, right?) turned me on to the complete unedited works of Bach in the music library. The dances that I have chosen to play from those suites, I edited myself - some of them as assignments from that teacher. I think that producing those editions was of great benefit to me, and helped me to perform them much more musically. One thing that I did was to "grace note - arpeggiate" most of the four note chords, rather than simply delete them. When done in tune and with finesse, this really adds to the dance suite movements (TONALITY !), particularly when performed in a room with medium reverberation.

Why did you ask ME, in particular?
