I would say that just being a tuba player is a "limited market" in which one needs to make their own opportunities. My "limit" is a little brass and woodwinds music store that is growing out of control. Anyone who knows me beyond this bbs is familiar with my playing, playing opportunities, and approximately what percentage of offered performance opportunities I accept.
Finally, reading posts on this bbs is so much fun that sometimes I will do this instead of sleep, repair instruments, or "practice". It sure beats twiddling my thumbs when I am uploading ebay jpgs.
