In your opinion, would tubas be easier on the chops than Sousaphones for marching and outdoor use. (I was a trumpet player in Army bands; thus, I've never marched with a tuba or a Sousaphone.) Seems to me I've seen some British military bands march with tubas. Do you know if U.S. military bands have ever used tubas for marching purposes?
