Some of us graduated before musicians were required to take math (thank God). I threw in the towel after high school algebra. Sine and cosine I've seen used in spy movies (Do you have a light? The sky is purple in May, Mr. Bond), and tangent is what my grandpa used to go off on, logrhythm - that's jungle percussion...
