Hey all, I just got my first tuba yesterday, and I'm so happy I just gotta let you all know... it's a very old Cerveny/Sanders piggy, in good condition, and it plays great. The only problems are that the bell got crunched en route from Ohio to here in Texas and that there are many dents at the bottom bow. I'm not worried about them, once they're tapped out it'll look fantastic!
My only question is this- is there any way I can trace a tuba's history w/ its Serial number? I'd like to know mainly its age, so if anyone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you all, have a nice day! =^)
