There is a fine composition(tuba concerto) by a student/former student of Alan Baer of Milwaukee, WI.
If I am not mistaken, it was written by James Woodward and premiered at the ITEC in Regina, Saskatchewan. It blew me away. Don't know if it is published or not, but it deserves a look.
