So I heard about the 50th anniversary commemorative sousaphone of 1926 which is preserved at the Interlochen Arts Academy in Interlochen, Michigan; a horn of 50 pounds, 36,5" bell diameter, to be followed down the size ladder by the H.N.White Jumbos (40 pounds / 32" bell), then Conn Jumbos, King Giants (30 pounds / 28" bell) - ... and the Monster Bueschers, Martins etc.
Any mistake in this order?
Now that human genetics have been progressively leading to an increase of men size in this hemisphere, our grand sons might be able to march with those XXXL sousas in the future and thus activate the museums items again.
