The Willson 3050 is a neat horn, but horribly akward to hold. I've tried it with and without stands, shelf paper, etc., but I've never seemed to get it just right. No matter how much I like a specific horn based upon sound, etc., I would never buy it unless it provided me with a comfortable playing position. I personally don't care for the B&S Perantucci piston horns, but I love the rotor PT-6 (and the PT-4). I agree with you about the Meinl Weston piston CC tubas...I've never been able to make their valve layout work for me.

As I'm sure you know, just try all of the horns that you can and find out what works best for you.
