1) Have a dealer like Dillons or Baltimore Brass sell it for you on consignment (they typically take 10-15% off the selling price for this service, but if you want to minimize the hassle involved in selling the horn, it may be worthwhile).

2) Sell it yourself. Place an ad on this forum, or on www.bassclefbrass.com

Setting a fair price is a difficult part of this process. Depending on condition, a Mirafone 186 could go anywhere from a few hundred to about 3 thousand at the highest. If it is pitched in CC and/or has 5 valves it will be worth more. The smaller models such as the 184 are rare and also demand a premium. Check the prices of used horns at the websites for Dillons and Baltimore Brass as well as ebay, to get a better idea of what a horn similar to yours might sell for.
