All right so now I have a good feel for what I am looking for in microphones. My next questions are as follows....
Do you need a DAT recorder or is there a CDR/RW out there with mike inputs? It would be easier than lugging around a desktop computer. And if there is a CDR/RW that would fit the bill transfer to PC would be easy.
If you were recording straight to your PC do you need an upper level sound card ( ie. 24 bit Audigy 2 etc.), if so what do you recommend?
