Is it easier on some horns to produce these privileged [false] tones compared to the "true" 4-valve fingerings, while vice-versa is true on other horns?

For example, on my Conn 25J, I find it easier to play low Eb, D, etc. with a full tone and good intonation using privileged tones rather than "conventional" 4-valve fingerings. Is this typical for all horns/mouthpieces/players?
