I agree! Conn Helleberg 7B plays very well on my PT-15. Some will argue that that particular mouthpiece is designed for BBb and CC playing but I think it sounds terrific on my PT-15. Yes, the notes below Eb below the staff on an F tuba are compatable to the notes below low G below the staff on CC. On a German F they should be approached with a solid buzz in the center of the note with relaxed air and no back pressure. It is going to be a difficult switch partly because you are coming from a Yamaha, which are very easy horns to play. Pracice playing F tuba like an F, not a CC.
