Why all this emphasis on how high you can play? I suggest you work on the register you'll use most: hang around in the cellar. Leave the double f's for the baritone/euphonuim/trombone/guys who have no low end. While the high range is an important register to develop, unless you're showing off in the warmup room for all county rehearsals, you would be better served working on a great sound in the middle and lower register.
